Body Maintenance
 Body Maintenance is a group of Exercise Physiologists dedicated to applying the latest research in physical conditioning and rehabilitation. We use exercise as a form of therapy in physical rehabilitation, as a preventive and maintenance strategy in chronic disease and as the base in developing and establishing functional independence. We specialise in training all types of people, from elite athletes to chronic disease.

Karen is our Principal clinician who completed a Bachelor of Applied Science degree at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). The main focus of this degree was to develop a greater understanding in exercise prescription to offer people with chronic disease a new method of treatment.

Nathan McKeowen

Image Exercise PhysiologistNathan's focus at Body Maintenance is the client and how to best adapt the exercise program to the individual's needs and priorities. His extensive experience allows him to adapt programs to a wide demographic. This is wether the individual is healthy or has a chronic condition / injury. Nathan specializes in late stage rehabilitation and returning clients to their optimal function.

Nathan has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement and a Graduate Diploma in Exercise Rehabilitation at the University of Ballarat, Victoria. He has an extensive background in sports conditioning, previously working as an Advanced Tennis Coach for a number of years.
