Developed by physiotherapists the Clinical Pilates programme pioneered the link between recent spinal stability research and the original work of Joseph Pilates and his contemporaries. Pilates is a useful and effective exercise technique to develop a stable musculoskeletal system. Through specific exercises, Pilates works to develop efficient and effective movements, trunk stability and control, which enhances the function of the limbs. Unstable trunk may lead to an increased incidence of injuries, so Pilates will be useful in preventing and treating injuries and at the same time toning the body. The sessions are held in small classes and individual sessions are available on request. General benefits:
