Natural Skin Care ClinicWhy go organic with your skin care? Our skin is the largest organ of our body. What you apply really does matter as up to 60% of any substance will be absorbed. Wouldn’t you rather apply products that don’t contain a long list of synthetic and potentially toxic ingredients? More importantly, isn’t it good to know that by using organic & natural products, you are actually using products richer in important skin nutrients such as antioxidants and phytonutrients. Feed your skin the best way you can with natural & organic skin care products from Vitale Natural Skin Care.

At Vitale we provide skin solutions by offering:

Naturally Active Skincare

Natural skin care is more active than many synthetic formulations. Excluding water, natural skin care contains up to 95% active ingredients. In contrast, many everyday personal care products and cosmetics contain only 5% active ingredients in a 95% inert (non-active) base. You will notice a difference when you use natural products.

Organic and plant-based ingredients

Natural skin & body care products contain nutrients, including naturally occurring antioxidants, amino acids, botanical extracts, pure essential oils and essential fatty acids in their holistic form which is more compatible with our skin and bodies. This includes nutrients such as grape seed (rich in phytochemicals that support the skin), rose hip oil (rich in vitamin C), Carrot oil (rich in vitamin A), pumpkin seed oil (rich in zinc), olive oil (rich in squalene) to name but a few. These ingredients promote healthy skin by nourishing from the outside in.

100% natural, ethical & cruelty-free products

Truly natural skin care products contain no synthetic ingredients such as artificial colours or fragrances. Artificial fragrances are amongst the most irritating ingredient in skin care with the ability to cause or significantly contribute to irritating skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes and hives. You will notice the difference in your skin when you avoid such ingredients.

Nor do natural skin care products contain any potentially harmful ingredients such as petrochemicals, mineral oils, sodium lauryl sulphate and propolene glycol. According to Skin Deep, an Environmental Working Group in the US, many of the synthetic ingredients used (in the US and Australia) in everyday skin care are potentially toxic to humans.

Healing solutions for problem skin

Natural skin care is formulated to support the healthy functioning of our skin from within and without. Humans absorb a certain percentage of any substance applied to our skin. By using natural products you ensure that what you are absorbing is benefiting your skin and body, promoting radiance and health.

Skin Care Clinic Tips for Healthy Skin

    • Stress - if you know that stress affects your skin, address the cause of your stress. Yoga, meditation, exercise and rest all help to reduce stress levels
  • Water - ensure that you drink adequate water. By the time you feel thirsty, your body is already dehydrated. Ensure that you drink 1.5- 2 litres per day. Avoid soft drinks and excess caffeine and they act as diuretics.
  • Hygiene - clean your skin before bed. You wouldn't go to bed without cleaning your teeth so give your skin the same respect. Daily grime and make up build up and if not cleaned off will congest your skin. Use a gentle cleanser and avoid products that contain sodium lauryl sulphate as it disrupts the natural pH of the skin.
  • Sunlight - we need some sun exposure. 20 minutes in the early morning and late afternoon is ideal for the Queensland climate. Avoid direct sun exposure in the middle of the day.

  • Nutrition - a whole food diet which concentrates on fruit & vegetables, whole grains, some lean protein, good fats and nuts & seeds is an ideal way to promote healthy skin. Avoid "white" processed foods, saturated or trans fats and simple sugars as these foods create inflammation within the body. Inflammation is one of the factors common to most skin conditions

  • Skin Products - use natural skin care. Talk to an expert about what suits your skin in particular. Avoid artificial fragrances and synthetic ingredients as these disrupt the natural protective barrier of the skin.
