What is Radiant Light?Radiant Light Yoga is an evolving, flowing and progressive style of Hatha Yoga. In an open, trusting environment, the journey of yoga begins. Asana poses are modified so that each person, with their unique needs can benefit, rather than expecting everyone to assume an exact replica of a pose. Energy and life force flows throughout the body in each pose, developing strength, flexibility, confidence and courage. The heart opens in Radiant Light Yoga practice, encouraging a sense of compassion and self acceptance and progressing to deeper levels of self-understanding. Radiant Light Yoga is practiced in a progressive way. In each class, the body will warm up, with foundational poses practiced before moving onto more advanced poses. Each pose will be experienced as new, with coming into, holding and releasing from each pose a focus. |
