YogaThrough practices of holding a variety of body positions or asanas, and the centering of the mind and breath in a meditative way, the student increases body awareness, posture, flexibility of body and mind and calmness of spirit. Yoga has been proven to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, regulate heart rate and even retard the aging process. It is also extremely useful for conditions such as anxiety, arthritis, headache, migraine, multiple sclerosis, osteoporosis, pregnancy, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Who can do yoga?

All ages and physical levels can do Yoga. If you are a beginner you can do easier forms of each posture and rest when needed as you build up the strength to do more advanced postures for longer periods of time.

What are the benefits of yoga?

  • Increased flexibility through working various joints of the body, some of which may have never been exercised
  • Increased lubrication of the joints, ligaments and tendons
