Emily is a qualified Radiant Light Yoga Instructor, with over 10 years of dedicated Yoga practise. She found such great physical benefit in practising yoga, in particular to the health of her spine, that she wanted to delve into teaching Yoga to share its many benefits with others.
Emily found the Radiant Light Yoga pathway in a quest to re-connect with her Inner Self.
Emily teaches general classes and also specialises in One on One Yoga.

What are the benefits of practicing Yoga?
Yoga can:
- Reduce the effects of aging in the body and mind.
- Greatly improve health of the spine. It has been said that flexibility of the spine determines your ‘age’ in yoga. The spine receives a fresh flow of blood and nutrition during asana practice, keeping it flexible and strong.
- Alleviate stress and anxiety by teaching us to relax.
- Slow our heart rate down so that blood can continue to circulate nutrients to all areas of the body.
- Naturally create/stimulate immunity by improving the flow of lymph throughout the body.
- Improve and stimulate circulation of blood and nutrients to the body, and remove toxic wastes
- Stretch and strengthen muscles in an even and balanced way.
- Improve bone density by stimulating mineralization in the bones, helping to prevent conditions such as osteoporosis.

How is Yoga best practised?
Regular practice of Yoga is recommended to reap the rewards that Yoga can bring.
Find what suits you best. You may find that a general weekly class is enough, or perhaps that you require more than one class per week.
One on One Yoga can be beneficial for those who would like a more personal and unique approach to their practice. I focus on developing a yoga sequence to suit your exact needs and requirements, and recommend a home practice that is just right for you. This can be a one off session from time to time, or on a more regular basis.
